1. Start the Menstrual Tracking Feature
You can start the menstrual tracking feature from the home or profile settings.

You can view your menstrual cycle on various screens such as the home, calendar, or event input modal.

You can record your menstrual cycle directly in the calendar.
4. Share with Your Partner
In the profile settings, you can choose whether to share your menstrual data.
If you do not enable sharing, your menstrual data will remain private.

If your partner allows sharing, you will have permission to view their menstrual information.
2. View Your Partner’s Menstrual Cycle
Your partner’s menstrual cycle will be displayed on various screens such as the home, calendar, or event input modal.

You can check your partner’s menstrual records in the calendar.

You and your partner can each activate the feature through your respective home or profile settings.

If both partners have enabled sharing, you can view each other’s cycle on the home screen.

You will see your own menstrual cycle like this, and your partner’s cycle like this.
4. Record Your Menstrual Cycle
You can enter your menstrual data by pressing the “Record” button.
5. Check Your Partner’s Menstrual Records
Press your partner’s cycle button to view their records.
6. Adjust Menstrual Settings
You can adjust the menstrual tracking settings in the profile settings. What is displayed will vary depending on whether sharing is enabled.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. I want to re-enter my initial menstrual cycle and period length.
This feature will be supported in a future update. In the meantime, you can improve accuracy by:
• Adding more past menstrual start/end dates.
• Continuing to input future menstrual data.
2. My predicted cycle and period length are incorrect.
After entering four or more menstrual start/end dates, the app will make more accurate predictions. Continue inputting past and future data to improve predictions.
3. What do the menstrual icons in the calendar mean?
The icons represent whether only you or both you and your partner are tracking.
4. How does the app predict my menstrual cycle and period length?
Signal collaborates with a team specializing in women’s hormone diagnostics to develop the algorithm. By inputting at least four past menstrual dates, the predictions will become more accurate.
5. The menstrual icon isn’t displaying. Why?
If Signal cannot predict your menstrual cycle, the icon will not appear. This may happen if:
• You haven’t entered any menstrual data for over a year.
• You’ve only entered data for irregular bleeding or cycles longer than 15 days.
6. How can I share my menstrual data with my partner?
You can adjust the sharing settings in your profile.
7. Can I view my menstrual data in a widget?
This feature will be supported in a future update.
8. Can I import menstrual data from another app?
This feature will be supported in a future update.
9. What happens to my menstrual data if I stop using Premium?
Your previously entered data will be safely stored, and you can access it again if you re-subscribe to Signal Premium.
10. What happens if I disconnect from my partner?
If the couple connection is broken, the menstrual records will be deleted.
